In June, 2010, the Office of the Public Service Commission held its first Line Ministry Visit (LMV). The LMV is an opportunity for PSC Officers to visit Ministries and government departments that they are responsible for. Since the first LMV, there have been two (2) more LMV’s held. LMV’s are viewed as an opportunity to meet Human Resource Managers and their respective CEO’s in their own environment. A LMV allows discussion on pending cases submitted to the PSC Office, re-clarify policies and to advise them of upcoming plans and events that may involve the Ministry.

Human Resource Managers Forum PDF Print E-mail

In July, 2010, the Office of the Public Service Commission convened its first Human Resource (HR) Managers Forum meeting consisting of Human Resource officers in all government departments. Since then it has convened another three (3) meetings to discuss human resource issues which are relevant to civil servants and to find alternatives to common problems.
