Vacant Positions at the Ministry of Tourism

The Ministry of Tourism is pleased to invite applicants (from within or outside Government) for the following position.

Position

Minimum Requirements

Salary Band

(x1) Assistant Senior Cultural Co-ordinator

Culture & Heritage

·         A Degree in Anthoropology, History, Archaeology or related field from a recognized tertiary institution with three (3) years’ work experience in Culture Industry or related field.

·         Desirable: Some experience in archiving and cataloguing

Band K

(x1) Tourist Officer

Destination Development

·         Must have a Bachelor Degree in Tourism, Marketing, Public Administration and Management or related field from a recognized University with up to three (3) years of relevant work experience.

·         Some experience in desirable but not necessary.

Band L

(x1) System Support Officer Grade III

·         Must have a Certificate in IT or related field from a recognized tertiary institution with at least two (2) years of working experience in relevant field;

·         Pass in form 7 with at least four (4) years of relevant working experience

·         Pass in PSSC with at least six (6) years of relevant working experience

Band O
