Advertisement of Two (2) vacancies at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forests (MAFF)

This serves to invite interested candidates to apply for the following job vacancies now available at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forests. All positions are advertised internally (within the Government) AND externally (outside the Government).

Minimum Requirements

1.

Chemical Analyst, Sustainable Development Division, Vaini, Tongatapu

Band L

$19,490-$29,230

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or relevant field from a recognized tertiary Institution with some experience in Agriculture or relevant field zero (0) up to three (3) years

OR;

Must have a Diploma in Agriculture or relevant field from a recognized tertiary Institution with some experience in Agriculture or relevant field of at least five (5) years.

2.

Forestry Assistant, Forestry Division, Tokomololo Tongatapu

Band Q

$8,400-$12,600

Must pass in PSSC or its equivalent with at least three (3) years of relevant working experience in nursery management and forestry sector

OR;

Pass in TSC or its equivalent with at least five (5) years of relevant working experience in nursery management and forestry sector

OR;

Must have met the entry requirement for the public service or have reached the secondary school level or its equivalent with at least 10 years relevant working experience in nursery management and forestry sector
